This year, we aim to strengthen our school's culture by identifying and developing student leaders. Our Student Government Association (SGA) initiative, led by Ms. Donna St. Pierre, the school counselor, will provide leadership opportunities to our students, while also teaching them of the responsibilities of elected officials and the rights and responsibilities Americans have as citizens.

Parents and Families, Yesterday, we sent home the "official" car tags. Each car rider was given two tags with their assigned number printed on them. If your student did not bring a car tag home, check their folder or bookbag this afternoon. Thanks for being patient as these arrives and as we take measures to keep our students safe. We are "Building the Future".

Safety is a priority at Clement Elementary School. Today, car riders received book bag tags with their assigned number on them. We want to ensure that we dismiss students to their families in an organized fashion. Please keep these tags on your student's bookbag, as this helps teachers identify students and release them to you safely. Also, students received bus tickets that they present to staff during dismissal. To ensure students load the correct bus, these color coded cards are necessary. If these cards make it to your home, please notify your child's teacher and send them back to school the next day. Thank you for helping us to "Build the Future"

On last evening, a former alum and current senator, Brent Jackson, provided an American flag and a North Carolina state flag to Clement Elementary School. Clement will fly these flags with pride as a Purple Heart School. A special thank you to Weston Jackson, Senator Jackson's grandson, and a current student at Clement, for presenting the flags to Mr. Langley during Open House.

Kindergarten Families, We are excited that your students will join the Cougar Family this year. Our goal is to ensure your child’s transition into public school is safe and efficient; hence, the Staggered Entry Plan. Kindergarten students will come to school ONLY 3 Days the first week of school. The dates they attend depends on the starting letter of their last name. Take a look at the flyer below for the specific dates your child will come to school. This plan will help us guide your child through their first week of school, acquainting them with the school building and familiarizing them with daily processes. Together, we will “Build the Future”.
