FAFSA
FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid) opens October 1. Current seniors who plan to attend college in the year 22-23 must complete the 22-23 FAFSA.
Completing the FAFSA determines if you will receive financial aid for college like grants, scholarships, or loans from the state/federal government or college you are applying to. EVERY college bound senior should complete.
CFNC has several videos that explain this process. Please start with the "create your FSA ID" video. You, the student, and one parent will need an FSA ID.
