Parents and Families,
This afternoon, the Clement Elementary School Homework Plan will be placed in your student’s folder or planner. Please take a few moments to review these guidelines, as homework will be assessed based on completion.
Our goal is to ensure that students are practicing and reinforcing skills that have already been taught in the classroom on the nights homework is assigned. Homework should provide meaningful practice, not new learning.
We never want homework to overwhelm our families or interfere unnecessarily with sports, extracurricular activities, or important family time. However, consistent practice and reinforcement of classroom objectives are important parts of student success.
Each grade level will provide a completion rubric to clearly communicate expectations and help families guide the work students complete at home.
Thank you for partnering with us as we continue Building the Future and helping our students grow!
