Bids for Lawn Maintenance
Sampson County Schools will be accepting bids for the upcoming Lawn Maintenance contract that will begin on July 1, 2026. This contract will be for 11 facilities/campuses (Hobbton and Midway districts as well as the Bus Garage). There will be a mandatory pre-bid meeting on April 20th, 2026 at 9:00AM. The meeting will take place at Sampson County Schools Auxiliary Building/Maintenance located at 2081 Indian Town Rd., Clinton, NC 28328. You must have a North Carolina Landscaping License in order to bid on this contract.

Uniform and Mop Rental Agreement/Contract

Request for Proposal
Sampson County Schools will receive sealed bids for Uniform and Mop Rental Services for the upcoming contract date that will begin on July 1, 2026. Information regarding on how to properly submit a request for proposal can be obtained from Plant Operations – 2081 Indian Town Rd., Clinton, NC 28328 - please contact Maria Rose or Mark Hammond.
Request for Proposal Deadline: May 11, 2026 by 10AM
Request for Proposals will be reviewed and you may be contacted with questions or concerns. Once a decision is made, you will be notified.
Contract Start Date: July 1, 2026
Request for Proposal Instructions:
1. Proposals must be received by 10:00 PM on May 11, 2026. Late bids will not be accepted.
2. Proposals need to be hand delivered to the Sampson County Schools Plant Operations office at 2081 Indian Town Rd., Clinton, NC 28328. Bids submitted via fax machine will not be accepted.
3. Indicate on the outside of the envelope “SEALED REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL” for Uniform and Mop Rental Contract and include the name of your company.
4. Proposals are subject to rejection unless submitted with the enclosed forms. Failure to sign proposal form shall render bid invalid.
5. Site Visits: Bidders will be required to visit all schools to apprise themselves of all conditions, which will affect the performance of the Uniform and Mop Rental Services. Arrangement to visit the sites may be made by contacting Plant Operations at 910-592-4111 x 3. Submission of a proposal shall contribute sufficient evidence of this compliance and no allowance will be made for any unreported condition, which a prudent bidder would recognize as affecting the performance of the work called for in the request for proposal.
6. The bidder should show a price per service per school and also a price for full year of service per school. It is understood that each school will be serviced weekly, with holidays and vacations being taken into consideration.
7. The bidder should have been established in this business for a period of not less than (3) years.
8. The bidder shall provide not less than (3) references for quality of work, timelines of completion and thoroughness of work duties.
