
Help us welcome SCS new Student Information Systems (Infinite Campus) coordinator, Kaylan Dudley!
Kaylan graduated from Hobbton High School in 2015. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Business Administration - Information Technology from NC State. Before transitioning to SIS coordinator, Kaylan taught information technology and business for the past 3 years at Hobbton High School.
"I am excited for the opportunity to expand my knowledge of student information systems while strengthening my IT skills. I look forward to continuing to serve Sampson County Schools in this new role," says Kaylan.

SCS Board member Eleanor Bradshaw shows off her framed artwork done by Union Intermediate 5th grade student Giovanni Mata Elizarraraz. Giovanni gifted the artwork to Mrs. Bradshaw in January in recognition of National School Board Appreciation month. Neill Westerbeek, Grower Development Manager with Smithfield Hog Production donated a Smithfield ham to SCS Superintendent Dr. Jamie King. On behalf of the employees at the Smithfield Warsaw Hog Production facility, Westerbeek wished all SCS staff a Merry Christmas!


We had an amazing school-wide field trip to the Fayetteville Marksmen’s Education Day Game. Lots of new experiences for our students.

The Sampson County YMCA is sponsoring a "Parents' Night Out" on October 21, 2023, from 5:30 p.m. - to 9:00 p.m. See the flyer for more details.
