Welcome to Union Elementary School. As we embark on a new school year, we are focused on experiencing a rewarding year where our students gain the knowledge and skills needed to be successful. As principal, I truly believe in the importance of education.   I received a Bachelor of Science in Physical Education in 1989, a Masters of Education in 1991 and a Masters of School Administration in 2005 -- all from Campbell University.  My Education experience includes Union High, Goldsboro Middle, and Roseboro-Salemburg Middle School. I had the great opportunity to teach in the Exercise Science Department at Campbell University for 12 years while I also served as an Assistant Women's Basketball coach for the Lady Camels.  In 2005, I began my career in Administration serving as an Assistant Principal, then moving up the administration ladder to serve as Principal at Roseboro Elementary School in 2012 before coming to Union Elementary in 2025.

I believe each child can learn and I am determined to make a positive impact in the lives of my students, staff, parents and community.

I am so honored and happy to be at Union Elementary School! I have spent 10 years in education working in elementary schools and it is my passion. My hope is for all students and their families to know they are loved and welcomed here at UES!
