Driver Education Schedule/Registration

Sampson County Schools offers an approved driver education course provided through North Carolina high schools or a commercial driver education school licensed by the N.C. Division of Motor Vehicles. North Carolina does not accept the http://dmvedu.org/ course for Driver Education.

2026-2027 Class Information and Schedule
Students must be 14 ½ years old on or before the starting date of class work.

There is a $65.00 fee to be sent in with registration or paid on the first day of class.
State law requires 30 hours of classroom participation and six hours of driving time. To receive credit, one must attend ALL the sessions.
Parents/students shall fill out the registration form and return it to their school along with the $65 fee.
