At its July 15 work session, the Sampson County Schools Board of Education approved Superintendent Dr. Jamie King’s recommendation to appoint a new principal, effective with the 2025-26 school year.

Eric Bradley, an experienced school administrator, has been named principal of Roseboro Elementary School. He has served with Cumberland County Schools as an assistant principal at the elementary and high school levels, as well as a district-level administrator supporting summer learning, student mentorship and family engagement.

Bradley earned a Master of School Administration from Fayetteville State University, a Master of Education in special education from Grand Canyon University, and a Bachelor of Science in psychology from the University of Phoenix. He also holds a professional certificate in family and child services.

“I’m excited to lead Roseboro Elementary and collaborate with staff, students and families to foster a strong, student-focused school culture,” Bradley said. “I am honored to join such a committed and caring community of educators and look forward to leading alongside each of you.”
