This morning, Midway Middle School proudly hosted our Veterans Day Program and Breakfast to honor the brave men and women who have served our country. Students and staff gathered to show gratitude and respect for the veterans in our school family.
We were honored to have Mr. Taylor, 8th grade teacher, serve as our guest speaker. His words reminded us of the courage, sacrifice, and service that Veterans demonstrate every day.
Thank you to all our veterans for your dedication and to our students for showing such respect and Raider pride during this special event. ❤️🤍💙

Celebrating Custodian Appreciation Day at Midway Middle School
At Midway Middle School, our custodians are more than the ones who keep our hallways shining and our classrooms clean. They are a vital part of our school family. On Custodian Appreciation Day, we pause to say a huge thank you to the people who quietly do so much to make our school a safe, welcoming, and caring place to learn.
We spoke with our custodians about what they enjoy most about working at Midway. Without hesitation, they said the best part is watching the students grow year after year. They take pride in seeing our students reach new milestones and become the best versions of themselves.
Midway is fortunate to have such an incredible team:
Mrs. Debbie has been caring for our school for 16 years.
Mr. Dinico has been a steady presence for 4 years.
Mr. Edwards has been faithfully serving Midway for an amazing 24 years.
When asked what advice they would give to students, they shared a simple but powerful message: “Reach for the stars and always try your best.”
We are deeply grateful for their hard work, kindness, and encouragement. Today, and every day, we celebrate Mrs. Debbie, Mr. Dinico, and Mr. Edwards for the heart they put into Midway Middle School.
