Mrs. Stroud & Mrs. Jernigan’s Math 3 & Precalc classes welcomed State Employee Credit Union representatives to speak on personal finance. The presentation focused on loans, investments & future planning. This was an extension to compound interest & finance which is studied in the logarithm unit for these courses!
Ms. Jones' Math 4 Honors students graphed their name using piecewise functions. Students had to develop a function and an appropriate domain to create the initials or letters from their name!
Ms. Pope’s Math 2 Honors class created tables of quadratic functions and determined their key characteristics to graph. Students then sorted their functions by solution types to display on group posters.
