Midway High School

Midway High School would like to send a shout out to our wonderful Social Studies department, in particular Mr. Jay Faircloth and Mrs. Beverly Brewer. Mr. Faircloth recently finished an innovative project with his students, and regularly pushes students to master research skills and inquiry in his classroom. Mrs. Brewer engaged her students with a wonderful lesson on the founding principles of the Declaration of Independence, allowing students to analyze the document through the use of a jigsaw strategy. You can always find new, innovative, and interesting ways to learn about our nation’s history, government, and economics and personal finance in our Social Studies department at Midway High School.
