SCS families:

The North Carolina Department of Public Instruction (NCDPI) is changing its previous student information system (SIS), PowerSchool, to Infinite Campus. Sampson County Schools, along with approximately 50 other school districts in North Carolina, is part of Phase One with Infinite Campus.

Our team has been working diligently to verify that SIS data was imported correctly into Infinite Campus. However, we are aware that there may be errors that need to be corrected. To assist in this process, we kindly request that you complete an information verification form provided by your child’s school and return it as quickly as possible. If you need another copy of the form, please call the school to arrange for pickup.

New students who wish to enroll in Sampson County Schools can submit an online enrollment application at this link or by visiting the Sampson County Schools website and clicking on the Enroll button.

On September 17 at 12 noon, we will launch the Infinite Campus Parent Portal. The Parent Portal provides parents with real-time access to grades, attendance, assignments, and schedules. Your child’s school will distribute a printed letter on September 17 containing your portal username, login details, and personal activation code. Please bring a valid photo ID to pick up your letter starting at 12 noon on September 17.

Parents with an active email account verified in the Infinite Campus system will receive their portal username and login information via email. If you need to update your email information, please contact your child’s school data manager.

Activation of the portal will begin at 12 noon on September 17, and you will be able to access your child’s information once you receive your username and activation code.

Thank you for your patience and understanding as we navigate this extremely complex process of transitioning data and information for over 8,000 student accounts, nearly 12,000 families, and approximately 1,000 SCS staff members to our new student information system.
