SCS Superintendent Dr. King had the privilege of meeting another amazing Sampson County Schools' student. This time, Sherlyn, a senior at Lakewood High School. She gave up her beautiful summer day to help us interview for the new principal of her school. Listening to students can tell you a lot about their needs.

He's 'da man! Jha'mir, a 4th-grade student at Salemburg Elementary School is helping out SCS Superintendent Dr. King with a few summer projects! #SCSYes #SCSFamily #hereforthekids

The central office enjoyed celebrating the educational years of service of SCS CTE director Ginger Stone, although we will miss her! Happy Retirement, Ginger🥳

Today the HHS Vanguard staff held our annual yearbook unveiling and dedication ceremony. The 2023 Vanguard is themed, "Restore the Roar" and was dedicated to Ms. Carla Sutton.
Ms. Sutton was the yearbook advisor for 14 years and recently handed over the reigns. A large group of former co-workers, yearbook students, and her family helped pull off the ultimate surprise!
This year's staff described her best with the title on her page- "The Heart of Hobbton". 💛🖤
