Welcome to the Union Middle School Counseling Department! My name is Kristine Travers, and I am proud to serve as the school counselor here at Union. I earned my Master’s degree in School Counseling from Liberty University, and I am passionate about helping students grow academically, socially, and emotionally.

At Union Middle School, the counseling program is designed to support every student in reaching their full potential. Whether students are navigating academic challenges, developing social skills, managing emotions, or preparing for high school, I am here to provide guidance and support. I also work closely with families, teachers, and staff to ensure a safe and inclusive learning environment.

My door is always open to students — whether they need a quick check-in, help solving a problem, or just someone to talk to. I also offer small group sessions, classroom guidance lessons, and resources for students and parents alike.
