“Wisdom…. comes not from age, but from education and learning." ―Anton Chekhov

Welcome!
My name is Faith McLamb, and I am a 6th Grade ELA Teacher. Teaching has always been a passion of mine, although I did not pursue it directly out of high school. I am a native to the Union District, having graduated from Union High School. I have been involved in the school setting since 2021, by completing observations, an internship, a long term substitute position, and (currently) a classroom teacher. The biggest reward for me is seeing the "ah-ha" moments when a student grasps the concept. I cannot wait for this school year with your student. We will have an amazing year together, full of learning and growing.

Motto
My motto for teaching is simple: Having an education is a PRIVILEGE that not everyone gets a chance to receive, therefore, we should take in all that we are receiving to set ourself up for success. Our education will empower us as we go throughout life, and it is something that cannot be taken away. Education is knowledge.
