Hello! My name is Alisa Simmons. I was raised and attended school in Sampson County. I have been a certified educator for thirty-one years with the Duplin County School District; where I had the pleasure of teaching kindergarten, fourth, fifth, and sith grades. I also served as the Reading First coach and STEAMA Curriculum Facilitator. I am excited to be the new Instructional Coach at UIS and I look forward to working with the staff, students, and parents of this great school to help our students achieve their greatest potential.
