Welcome to Health Science!

At Union High School I teach: Foundations of Health Science, Health Science I, and Health Science II to a mix of students including grades 9-12.

I enjoy teaching students about health, diseases and how the different body systems work. I have been a Registered Nurse (RN) for over 30 years and taught in both Associate Degree Nursing and Practical Nursing programs at the community college level for 17 years. In addition, I have taught workshops and summer camps for high school Health Science students for 8 years. I earned my Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) from Duke University. I am a certified First Aid and Basic Life Support instructor.
