I grew up in Mathews County, Virginia, an area rich in history. Even at an early age I became interested in history and social studies, and when it came time to chose a major for college after I moved to North Carolina, it was an easy decision. I knew I wanted to share my passion for history with others and become a teacher. I graduated from Campbell University in 2010 and have been working at Union High School since 2011 serving as a history teacher and head coach of the Boys Soccer team.
