Sampson County born and bred, I am proud to say that my entire education career has been spent in Sampson County. After graduating Midway High School in 1997, I attended Sampson Community College for two years then transferred to Campbell University where I obtained a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration. While in college I worked part-time at State Employees' Credit Union in Clinton and Dunn. Upon graduating from Campbell, I began working full time at the Credit Union and worked as a Teller and Member Service Representative. I had a desire and a calling to pursue a career in Education and applied for a Math position at Union High School where I was later hired. I would begin work in 2003 as an Algebra I teacher not knowing where this journey would take me. In the 2004-2005 school year I decided to move to the Business Education department where I taught business classes for two years. In the fall of 2006, I moved to the guidance department as the CDC/SPC where I remained until 2023-2024. After much prayer, I decided to apply for the Program Coordinator's position at Sampson Early College. I have been part of this awesome school since 2024-2025. In 2009, I decided to further my education and obtain a Master's degree in Curriculum, Instruction, and Supervision from UNCW. In May of 2011, I achieved this degree. During my time at Union, I was the head Volleyball coach for 6 six years, assisted with softball, and served on several committees.

I am a mother of two wonderful girls. Halle Ann, 14, and Harper Addison, 11. God has truly blessed me over the years.
