Hello Leopards,

I am a proud graduate of the Lakewood District, having attended Salemburg Elementary, Roseboro-Salemburg Middle, and Lakewood High. After high school, I had the extreme honor and privilege of receiving my education degree from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Go Heels! 

I became a teacher to encourage all children to believe that they can achieve the impossible whether it's to be the first in their family to go to college, deal with having a disability, or just being the quiet kid in the back of the room dreaming of what the future could be for them. I firmly believe that all students can be successful in their own way, because success is different for everyone.

In my spare time, I enjoy reading, traveling (I have visited the Dominican Republic and Romania on missions trips) and spending time with family and friends.
