Welcome!

I am a Sampson County native and product of the Lakewood District. I attended Salemburg Elementary, Roseboro-Salemburg Middle, and Lakewood High School (class of 2008). I received my BS in Elementary Education from the illustrious Fayetteville State University in 2014. In 2015 I started my career in teaching, having done so at the elementary and middle school level. As a dedicated middle school educator with over a decade of experience, I believe that education is a transformative journey that empowers young learners to discover their strengths, think critically, and become responsible, compassionate individuals. I view my role as both a guide and facilitator who creates a safe, inclusive, and engaging environment where every student feels valued and motivated to learn.

I am a wife and a mom of two amazing little boys, one of which will be heading to school in the fall.
