Welcome to Roseboro Elementary School!

Greetings, Roseboro Elementary School Families!

It is an honor and privilege to serve as the principal of Roseboro Elementary School. Since joining the RES family, I have been inspired by the dedication of our staff, the support of our families, and the incredible potential of our Little Leopards.

With more than a decade of experience in education and leadership, I believe strongly in the power of relationships, high expectations, and collaboration. At RES, we are committed to creating a safe, welcoming, and engaging school community where every student feels valued, knows they belong, and is challenged to reach their full potential.

Our commitment is simple: every Little Leopard will be Connected, Challenged, and Celebrated. By working together with our staff, families, and community, we will continue building on the proud traditions of RES while creating an even brighter future for our students.

Together, we will help every Little Leopard learn, grow, and thrive!

Assistant Principal

Hello to all of the Little Leopards and the entire Roseboro Elementary School family!  I am truly excited about the amazing opportunity to serve as your new Assistant Principal!

The vision of RES includes “making connections, purposeful challenges, and joyful celebrations”. It is my goal and desire to support every aspect of this vision to ensure our students, faculty, and staff reach their fullest potential in every area of life.  I hope to help make meaningful connections by being genuine and trustworthy. I will support our school family through challenges with unwavering commitment.  I will celebrate every achievement and milestone reached, always looking forward to the next!

I have 14 years of educational experience that helps me achieve those goals.  I have served in various capacities such as a classroom teacher serving grades second through fourth, instructional coach, ELA advisory committee member, and Beginning Teacher Mentor. A position that I have held dear to my heart is serving as a community/school liaison. It is a privilege to work one-on-one with families and communities to help bridge gaps in education and light the pathway to help our students be the best they can be.

My educational background includes an Associate Degree in General Education, Fayetteville Technical Community College; an Associate of Arts Degree, Fayetteville Technical Community College; a Bachelor of Science, Elementary Education, Fayetteville State University, Magna Cum Laude; a Master of Arts, School Administration, Queens University of Charlotte; and a Doctor of Philosophy, Educational Leadership - Higher Education Administration.  With my extensive educational background, I hope to show that I am thoroughly prepared to serve!

I look forward to helping develop our Little Leopards into lifelong learners and leaders!
