Hi!  Welcome to my page. This is my sixth year teaching at PVES.  I graduated from Fayetteville State University in December 2019 and began my teaching career at Harnett Primary before switching to PVES.

My philosophy as a teacher is borrowed from philosopher John Dewey, "learn to do by doing". I believe it is important for students to have an active role in their learning by using a hands on approach. I try to have students working in groups, using manipulatives, and integrate technology as much as possible. I believe students can learn more and be more focused when they are enjoying the content and interacting with myself and other students.

I treat all my students the way I would want my own children to be treated.  I am here to support them and help them in any way possible.  My goal is for all students to feel nurtured and loved in my classroom and know that it is a safe space for learning and connecting with friends.  Please feel free to reach out to me whenever you need anything.  You can email, call, or send me a message through the DOJO app.
