Hi! My name is Katie Reed, and I’m so excited to be teaching here in the community I grew up in. I graduated from Midway High School in 2020, and then earned my Bachelor of Arts in English from Fayetteville State University in 2025.

I started working in education in 2022 at First Impressions Academy as a preschool assistant, and later returned as a substitute teacher. After graduating college, I taught 7th and 8th grade ELA at Harnett Central Middle School. Each of these experiences has helped shape me as a teacher and confirmed how much I love working with students.

I’m passionate about helping students grow, not just academically, but as individuals. I want my classroom to be a place where students feel comfortable, supported, and encouraged to do their best.

I’m really looking forward to a great year together! My goal is to create a classroom environment that is positive, engaging, and supportive for all students. I’m excited to work together and help students succeed!
