Hello! My name is Leasa Hodges. I teach Honors and CP Biology.

I have taught with Sampson County Schools for 25 years, teaching Science, middle school CTE, Agriculture, and Biotechnology. I am originally from the Ozark mountains in Missouri. I received a Bachelor of Science in Animal Science from Missouri State and and Master of Agricultural Education from North Carolina State.

Course Goals

Biology is a rigorous, in-depth study of biological principals designed to challenge students and prepare them for advanced scientific work. The course will cover fundamental biological concepts, including cellular processes, genetics, evolution and ecology.

Attendance Policy

Regular attendance is crucial for success in this course. If you miss a class, it is your responsibility to catch up on missed work. If you miss more than 10 days you will be in danger of failing, regardless of your grade. (County Policy)
