Welcome to English and Teacher Cadet!

I am excited about the start of a new school year and having our students back.  I love working at Midway High School!  As a former raider, I take pride in our school and  work to push students to be their best.  I graduated from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill with a BA in English Education and have also earned a license to teach Advanced Placement Language and Composition from UNC at Pembroke.  In addition, I have completed training in the area of Teacher Cadet and the curriculum within the course.

During the first semester, I will work with English 2 and English 4. I will also be teaching a Teacher Cadet 1 and Teacher Cadet 2 course.This course will work to develop teachers for our future. Extending my support of students onto the field and court, I am the volleyball and softball coach here at Midway.

I'm excited for the new year and expect great things to happen!
