I aim to bring an open mind, a positive attitude, and high expectations to the classroom each day. I believe that I owe it to my students, as well as the community, to bring consistency, diligence, and warmth to my job in the hope that I can ultimately inspire and encourage such traits in the children as well.

I graduated from Coker University in 2019, with a B. A. in elementary education. While attending Coker, I was a four year starter on the college softball team. While on the team we played for a conference championship twice and made it to the NCAA division II regionals.

I will be entering my seventh year teaching fifth grade. I love teaching at Midway. This community is so special and has welcomed me with open arms. It is amazing to see the impact a strong community can have on a school.

If I am not at school you will usually find me around the community, attending other sporting events with my daughter, or catching some of my students rec. ball games. I love getting to watch my students excel in and out of the classroom.
