Maria Williamson

Hello, Welcome to fifth grade!
I aim to bring an open mind, a positive attitude, and high expectations to the classroom each day. I believe that I owe it to my students, as well as the community, to bring consistency, diligence, and warmth to my job in the hope that I can ultimately inspire and encourage such traits in the children as well.
All About Me!
I graduated from Coker University in 2019, with a B. A. in elementary education. While attending Coker, I was a four year starter on the college softball team. While on the team we played for a conference championship twice and made it to the NCAA division II regionals.
I will be entering my fifth year teaching fifth grade. I love teaching at Midway. This community is so special and has welcomed me with open arms. It is amazing to see the impact a strong community can have on a school.
If I am not at school you will usually find me around the community, either assisting the high school softball team, attending other sporting events with my daughter, or catching some of my students rec. ball games. I love getting to watch my students excel in and out of the classroom.
