Welcome to Midway Elementary School!  I have been an Exceptional Children's Resource Teacher at Midway Elementary School for 11 years with a total teaching experience of 19 years.

My primary job responsibilities include teaching Kindergarten-5th grade special education students as well as developing and maintaining student Individualized Education Plans(IEPs). I provide specially designed instructions daily to address specific targeted educational and functional needs for each of my students. I work closely with general education teachers, our administrative team, and parents to best meet our special education student needs.

After accepting my first public education teaching position, I quickly realized how much I love working with special education students. It has been very rewarding to watch students of all ability levels year after year experience academic growth and success.
