Mrs. Alex Stonerock

Hello! I am so excited to be at Midway Elementary School. As a 2006 graduate of this very building, I am so happy to be back. I graduated from the University of Mount Olive in 2011 with a degree in Middle Grades ELA and math. I returned to Raider Country to begin my career at Midway Middle School. I was a 6th grade math and science teacher for 11 years, cheerleading coach, and softball coach. I obtained a Masters in School Administration from Campbell University in 2023. My teaching philosophy has always been that any student given the right environment, expectations, and opportunities can learn and grow. I am so excited to carry this out as the assistant principal at Midway Elementary School. It is my goal to serve this community and be of support to any and all that I can. This community is home and I look forward to learning and growing with it.

I have a loving husband, Billy, and three wonderful children, Kyleigh, Macsen, and Liam.
