Welcome!

This is my eighth year at Lakewood High School as a teacher, but as a former graduate of LHS, I have always been a Leopard!  I have a B.S. in Business Administration with a Marketing concentration, a Masters Degree in Business Education, and have spent over 11 years in corporate America working with mortgage sales, pharmaceutical sales, and in digital and print marketing.  I am a previous recipient of the NC Teaching Fellows scholarship grant, and I spent the majority of my college education focused on instruction in the classroom.  I am a graduate of Fayetteville State University via NC State University. I am also 2020 graduate of North Carolina A&T University with a Masters of Arts in Teaching for Business Education. I am currently pursuing my Master's of Administration degree from North Carolina Central University and will finish in the spring of 2026.

I teach Sports and Event Marketing I and II, and Entrepreneurship I and II.  I am a principal intern at Lakewood High School. I am the head Men's varsity basketball coach for LHS basketball. I am also the advisor for the FBLA. The FBLA is the largest student club at Lakewood and the largest in the Central Region!

Lakewood High School has an active FBLA Chapter and we encourage all students to join FBLA!
