Welcome to fourth grade!
My name is Megan Mouldon. I am originally from Pennsylvania, but moved to North Carolina in 2007. I have two children who attend Hobbton and have been married to my husband for over 10 years. I enjoy spending time with my family, 4 wheeling, camping, being outdoors, attending Hobbton sports events or reading a good book.
As long as I can remember I wanted to be a teacher, and I finally reached my dream in 2017 when I started my teaching career at Hobbton Elementary as a long-term substitute. In 2018-2019 I was hired as a Reading/Math Intervention teacher for grades 1-5, and in 2019-2020 I became a 4th grade ELA and Social Studies teacher. This year I will be teaching 2nd grade and teaching all subject areas. I am a graduate of the University of Phoenix with my BA in Elementary Education.
I have always wanted to make a positive difference in the lives of children, as they are our future. I want my students to know that they can reach anything that they put their mind to and that no dream is too big to reach. I also strive to make learning fun, because children tend to learn better when they're having fun and it oftentimes makes them enjoy school more.
I am proud to be part of the Wildcat family and look forward to many years at Hobbton Elementary.
