Welcome

I would like to welcome everyone to another great school year at HES. I am excited to be teaching math to all of our 5th graders!! This is my 24th year teaching, all of which has been in 5th grade at HES.

Classroom Expectations

I hold high expectations for all of my students.  Please come to class each day with your required materials and expect to be engaged in math for the entire class period.  We will work together, and independently, in order to fully grasp each concept that will be presented.  Students will have an opportunity to share in the learning experience with each other through cooperative groups and visual examples.
