Hobbton Middle School

Adam Tew brings a wealth of knowledge, leadership, and passion to Hobbton Middle School. He earned his Bachelor’s Degree in Education from Methodist University, where he also played Men’s Basketball and helped lead the team to two conference championships, before earning his Master’s Degree in Education from East Carolina University. During his 17 year career with Cumberland County, he taught and coached Boys Basketball and Baseball and served as an Athletic Director. Outside of school, he enjoys staying active through running, fishing, kayaking, attending sporting events, volunteering at his church, and spending time outdoors with his wife and children. Their family adventures often include their Labrador, Defense, and Golden Retriever, Rudy. Coach Tew is excited to be part of the Hobbton Wildcat Community and looks forward to building a strong, positive future for Hobbton Athletics!
