I am truly excited to be back in Sampson County, teaching 8th Grade Math and Math 1!

I graduated from Hobbton High in 1992, from NCSU in 1996 with a bachelor's of science in Secondary Mathematics Education, and from NCSU in 1997 with my Master's of Education in Curriculum and Instruction. I am National Board Certified in Middle Ages Mathematics, and this is my 28th year teaching.

I live in Liberty, NC, in Randolph County. During the week, I reside in Sampson County in my childhood home, with my father.

I am married to David Freeman, and we have three wonderful kids. Brooks is a senior at NCSU, majoring in Mechanical Engineering. My middle, by two minutes, Maggie, is attending ECU, hoping to major in nursing. Her twin brother, Mitchell, is a Cadet at Texas A and M University, majoring in Industrial Engineering, with signed intentions to join the US Air Force as an officer upon graduation.
