Welcome! My name is Karen Fay and I will be teaching 8th grade ELA this year. I have been with Hobbton Middle School going on 13 years. I have taught 6th grade ELA for the past 2 years and social studies for 3 years, and have worked with exceptional children for 7 years. I graduated from Ashford University with an Associates Degree in Early Childhood Education and Grand Canyon University with a Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education K-6. Many of my students that I will be teaching this year, I have taught them in 6th grade. It will be so exciting to work with your children again.

A Little about me:

I am originally from Easthampton, Massachusetts. I moved to North Carolina in 2004. I am married, I have 3 grown children, and 2 grandchildren. I have 6 dogs that are my fur babies. In my spare time I enjoy reading, spending time with my family, and love the outdoors.
