Hello, and welcome! My name is Karrie Edwards and I am excited to be joining Hobbton Middle School as an EC teacher.

I am a proud Hobbton High School alum as well as East Carolina University. Prior to joining HMS, I spent seven years at the high school level. This year brings new adventures, and I am excited about the opportunity to work with middle school students.

I want every student that enters my classroom to feel welcomed, valued, and heard. One of the most rewarding parts of teaching is watching a student experience that "AHA" moment...that moment when something than once seemed difficult finally makes sense.

I believe that with encouragement, patience, and the right support, every student can make progress and experience success. I am looking forward to a wonderful year at HMS.
