Once a Wildcat, Always a Wildcat!

As a proud graduate of Hobbton High School, I am thrilled to be working in the school I hold dear! After graduating from HHS, I was honored to receive the NC Teaching Fellows scholarship, which allowed me to attend NC State University and earn a BA in Psychology. During my time there, I also participated in a dual-enrollment program at Meredith College, where I obtained my Elementary Education Teaching License.

I spent five years teaching at Hargrove Elementary before furthering my education at East Carolina University, where I earned a Master of Library Science degree. I am also National Board Certified. I have worked with Sampson County Schools for 29 years.

Outside of work, I am the proud mother of two daughters, Emily and Anna, both HHS graduates. Our family enjoys beach outings, traveling, and spending time with our pets, Bentley and Priscilla.
