Graduation PRACTICE IS MANDATORY! 
If you don’t attend practice, you will not attend graduation.  
*Tickets will be given out at practice.  

• Senior Remind code:  @hhs26class  (text it to 81010)      

• Mr. Mendoza’s Google classroom: a7etpbwd and his Remind: @acak79

• Mrs. Dove’s Google Classroom: 3h3frhet  and her Remind:  @hhs2026ss 

• You will order and buy a mandatory cap and gown from Herff Jones.  You will receive HJ packets on October 28 during Flex.  HJ will take orders on November 5 during lunches in the cafeteria or anytime via website.

• Senior dues are $50. Pay via School Cash to Mrs. Ward or to Mrs. C. Warren with cash/check. Dues pay for graduation event decor, programs/tickets, security, senior activity and senior meal. Dues must be paid by April 1st.   

• Senior Banners are optional. If you choose not to purchase a banner, you will be required to get a parent signature verifying you will not have a banner in Newton Grove

  • The cost of Senior banners is $40 ($90 if paid with senior dues)

  • Must be paid to C. Warren by Monday, November 3rd 

DRESS CODE for Graduation, Senior Awards, & Baccalaureate Ceremonies. Don’t wait until the last minute! 

• Ladies should wear a black or dark colored dress that meets SCS Dress Code Policy when underneath the graduation gown.  Dress should not show through the gown or be longer than the gown.  

• Ladies have the option to wear black dress pants with a black or white top. (No leggings or jeans allowed.)

• Minimal and neutral color jewelry. 

• Black or Nude shoes.  Low heel, wedge, or flat dress shoes will be most comfortable when walking.

• Gentlemen should wear black dress pants with a white button-down shirt and a black tie, black socks, and black dress shoes.  

• Graduation Gown and hood.  

• Graduation Caps 

  • Cap must be worn flat on top of your head with the tassels to the right side before graduation.  You may need bobby pins to hold cap in place.  

  • No decorations on your cap. 

• School issued and approved cords ONLY at graduation.

November 18 - Senior Picture Make-up Day

November 26 - Last Day to Purchase a Senior Ad

March 18 - HJ Grad Items Delivered During Lunches

April 3 - Prom

April 3-12 - Spring Break

May 1 - White Lake trip

May 6 - Athletic Banquet

May 8 - Grad Walks AND Cap/Gown Pictures

May 12 - Practice for Senior Awards, 1st period

May 13 - Senior Awards, 6pm (Seniors arrive at 5:30)

May ? - Senior Parade sponsored by Town of Newton Grove

May ? - Baccalaureate Ceremony

May 21 - Senior meal and Graduation Practice - Time TBD

May 22 - Class of 2026 Graduation - Civic Center - Time TBD
