Hello!
I am Jennifer Jackson, Visual Arts Teacher at Hobbton High School.
I am excited for you to enroll in the course, we will have a fun time learning about Art from ALL ANGLES!
As a teacher, I aspire to be fun and engaging so your learning experience will be memorable. I feel as if Art has been one of the basic Human desires since the beginning of time, and it sadly does not get the notoriety it deserves. It is my Goal to introduce you to the World of Art and help you learn and appreciate the subject more than ever!
About Me:
I am a former Graduate of Hobbton High School (class of 2003)
I completed my College Degrees at East Carolina University in 2010, and the highest level of education I hold is a Master's Degree.
I have been at Hobbton High School for 15 years and I hope to be here much longer!
I have always wanted to be an art teacher, and I feel as if it is my passion to open student eyes to the world of art and it's contributions to our society today and in the future.

· 1 Sketchbook
· #2 Pencils with erasers (at all times!)
· 1 Hand held eraser
· 1 Hand held pencil sharpener
· 1 pocket folder
· Notebook paper
· Black Sharpie Markers-(at least 1 fine point, 1 ultra-fine point)
· Paintbrushes-(assorted sizes)
· Markers
· Colored Pencils

· Boxes of Tissue
· Hand Sanitizer
· Liquid hand or dish soap
· Styrofoam Plates (for painting)
· Gallon size resealable bags (for storing paint)
· Clean plastic food containers with lids
· Empty plastic baby food containers (mini plastic ware)
· Sewing needles and threads
· Yarns* old or new!
· Paint brushes
