My name is Lauren Strickland. I began my career in education in 2005 at Hargrove and have been here ever since! Before becoming the media specialist, I taught first grade for two years. Needless to say, I love Hargrove and my Hargrove family.
I graduated from Campbell University with a Bachelors degree in Elementary Education. I later received my Masters of Library Science degree from East Carolina University. I am also National Board certified.
Outside of school I enjoy playing with my chocolate lab, Reese, and traveling.
