This is my third year teaching at Hargrove. I am excited to be teaching third grade this year. I believe that all students deserve the best education. I strive to provide a welcoming teaching environment, that promotes a safe and happy atmosphere for learning.

I went to school in the Hobbton district from Kindergarten through High School. I graduated from the University of Mount Olive, with my bachelors in k-6 Elementary Education. Now, I have chosen the Hobbton district to be a place to grow my career in education. It is rewarding to serve in the district that I went to school in.

I teach third grade Reading/ELA, Math, Science, and Social Studies.

The curriculum that we use in third grade for Reading Language Arts is Core Knowledge Language Arts (CKLA), it is a comprehensive program for teaching reading, writing, listening, and speaking while also building students' vocabulary and knowledge across essential domains in literature, world and American history, and the sciences.

I love to see my students achieving the goals that they set, and making a brighter future for themselves. This is going to be a fun and exciting year, with so many learning opportunities and adventures that await us.
