Welcome!  I have been teaching since 2000.  I have taught a 1st/2nd grade combo class, 1st grade, 2nd grade, 3rd grade, 4th grade, and K-2 remotely.  I knew by the time I was about 4 or 5 that I wanted two things in life.  I wanted to be a mom and a teacher.  I just knew.  There has never been a point in my life that I have ever wanted to do anything else.  I enjoy teaching and being a mother and wife. 

Teaching is not just a job.  I have a tendency to love and care for my students much like they are my own.  Their needs and wants become important to me.  I want them to be safe, happy, healthy, and to feel successful.  So you might hear me talk about my babies... my students that is.  It all goes back to what I knew when I was about 4 or 5... I wanted to be a mom and a teacher.  My class becomes my home and my students- my babies.
