Mrs. Kari Fowler

My name is Kari Fowler and I moved to North Carolina from Michigan in 2003. I graduated from Central Michigan University in December of 2001 with a B.S. in Elementary Education, majoring in Language Arts and minoring in Science.

I live in Sampson County with my husband and three children. My oldest daughter graduated from Randolph College in Virginia and is working for an educational company in media and distribution. She also has her own photography business! My son will be in fifth grade and enjoys Boy Scouts and Parks and Rec baseball. My youngest daughter will be in third grade and she enjoys competitive dance. When I'm not acting as a taxi driver for my children, I enjoy camping with my family and traveling!

I have been teaching at Hobbton Elementary since 2003.  Every year is full of changes! In the past, I have taught 5th-8th grade Science in Michigan, but the majority of my teaching has been in North Carolina, where I have taught 2nd grade ELA and Math; 3rd grade ELA, Science, and Social Studies; and 5th grade ELA, Science, and Social Studies! I am looking forward to another great year at HES with a wonderful group of 5th graders!  GO WILDCATS!
