Midway High School is a growing rural community school that is located approximately halfway between the cities of Dunn and Clinton (near the Spivey's Corner crossroads) on Highway 421. The school serves an entirely rural clientele with a modest number of transfers from other district high schools as well as some out-of-district high schools. Predominately, Midway High School serves the northwestern area of the county school system which includes the Midway, Plainview, and Clement areas.
Midway High School is a public school. Due to continued growth in this area Midway entered the 2008-2009 school year in a brand new building which has room to accomodate our growth for many years to come. With this new facility, Midway has moved into the 21st century with many improvements in technology and many first time technologies to use with our students preparing them to be 21st Century learners.
