My name is Lauren Strickland.  This is my eighteenth year in education and all of those eighteen years have been at Hargrove!  I taught first grade for two years before becoming the media specialist.  Needless to say, I love Hargrove and my Hargrove family.

I graduated from Campbell University with a Bachelors degree in Elementary Education.  I later received my Masters of Library Science degree from East Carolina University.  I am also National Board certified.

Outside of school, I enjoy playing with my chocolate lab, Reese, and traveling.
