Welcome to our Remote Learning class.  I have been teaching since 2000.  I have taught a 1st/2nd grade combo class, 2nd grade, 3rd grade, and 4th grade.  I knew by the time I was about 4 or 5 that I wanted two things in life.  I wanted to be a mom and a teacher.  I just knew.  There has never been a point in my life that I have ever wanted to do anything else.  I enjoy teaching and being a mother and wife.  I have one son who has been a handful, you might say.  He is full of energy, loves video games, and basketball.  My husband is my prince.  He rescued me in 2018.  I am grateful for both of them.  They make home my favorite place to be.  I enjoy traveling... anywhere really.  However, home is truly where my heart is.  Teaching is not just a job.  I have a tendency to love and care for my students much like I do my own son.  Their needs and wants become important to me.  I want them to be safe, happy, healthy, and to feel successful.  So you might hear me talk about my babies... my students that is.  It all goes back to what I knew when I was about 4 or 5... I wanted to be a mom and a teacher.  My class becomes my home, and my students, my babies.
