Degrees and Certifications:

Bachelor of Science in Agriculture Education from North Carolina State University Cabinet Certification from Fayetteville Technical Community College

Mr. Dan Chabot

Currently, I teach Agriculture Mechanics I & II and Advanced Agriculture Studies. I am a graduate of North Carolina State University and hold a Bachelor of Science in Agriculture Education and have a Cabinet Builder Certification earned from Fayetteville Technical Community College. Before UHS, I worked in agriculture education at Cape Fear High School and North Lenoir High School.  Also, I worked with the National FFA Organization where I facilitated student work based education in agriculture education across the United States, American FFA Degree, SAE, Stars Over America, and SAE grants. My biggest hope for Union High School is to be an active and competitive FFA chapter locally and nationally.  I want our students to be competitive in the industry, strong in leadership, and grow personally in their success. Above all, I enjoy motivating students to be humble, honest, and good to those around them. I want to instill in my students a strong sense of work ethinc.  “You may have more money, may be able to do it faster than me, and you may be smarter than me, but no one will work harder than me.”
