Dear parents and students,
I hope you are all well. The past few weeks have proven to be challenging for all of us, teachers, students, administration and parents. We know this "remote learning business" is difficult, but together we can get through this. We are all in this together and we are learning as we go. Just think, you are making history!
Students, please submit pictures of your grade level projects that were due Friday, March 27 either through email or Microsoft Teams. I have added you all to either 6th, 7th or 8th grade teams depending upon your grade level. If you do not have a way to subit work online, you may bring it with you when we return to school in May.
As noted in the assignments, Warm-Ups 41-42 are due on Friday, April 3; Warm-Ups 43-46 are due on April 9th; there is no online instruction from April 9-17th and Warm-Ups 47-49 are due on April 22.
All three grade levels are receiving the same instruction regarding warm-ups and the project assignment. The project assignment is as follows: All students are to read the attached PDF located in the red tab Weeks 3-4. Note that I have made special notes that are very relevant to each of you, no matter your grade level. Pay careful attention to things I have underlined. Look at the examples. Reflect. Throughout the PDF, the author/artist gives many suggestions for practice. Complete any two of his activities/suggestions and take pictures. Submit via Teams or email. If you don't have a way of submitting, they will be due when we return in may.
Please, if you have any questions for me, you can email me directly. My email comes directly to my phone and will always be available to help you guys. I hope and pray that you remain safe and healthy through all of this and I cannot wait to see your faces in the hallways of UMS.
