B.S. in Business Administration Certified K - 12 General Music Teacher

Mrs. General Music

Welcome! I am Pandora Tyndall.  I've been teaching K-5 Music at Salemburg Elementary since 2001.  My full time position is split between Salemburg Elementary and Roseboro Elementary. I earned my Bachelor of Science in Business Administration at Mount Olive College in 1986.  While attending MOC, I was very involved in the music program.  I took four years of voice lessons, sang with the Concert Choir and was a member of the Mount Olive College Singers with whom I performed at Walt Disney World in Florida and at the presidential inauguration of President Ronald Reagan.  After graduation, I was employed as an accountant/bookkeeper until I decided I wanted a job that allowed for more interaction with people. When I learned of an available position as General Music Teacher with Sampson County Schools, I accepted the position, combining my love of music and children.  I was hired on Emergency Permit  and continued my education at Fayetteville State University to earn my K-12 General Music teaching certification.  Originally, I am from Spivey's Corner (The Hollerin' Capital of the World), where I graduated from Midway High School in 1982.  I started singing at the age of eight, took voice lessons throughout my elementary and high school years, took eight years of piano and one year of organ lessons. My husbancd and I have been married for 36 years, and we are the parents of two wonderful young men! My hobbies are reading, watching old sitcoms and game shows, social networking, and spending time with my family and friends at home and at the beach.  I am so blessed to have the opportunity to be a positive influence in the lives of the students at RES and SES!
