I am a graduate of Clinton High School in Clinton, North Carolina.  I began my college education at Emmanuel College in Franklin Springs, Georgia in early childhood education.  I transferred to Campbell University my junior year to be closer to family.  I graduated from Campbell University in 2003 and began teaching in soon after.  I have taught Kindergarten, third grade, and fourth grade, but my favorite so far has been second grade in which I am currently blessed to be teaching.  When my first child was three I returned to school while still teaching and obtained my Masters in Elementary Education from the University of North Carolina at Pembroke.  I am a mom to a beautiful, fourth-grader, Mirabella and a energetic three year old boy, Wells.   In my free time I enjoy painting, reading, traveling to the beach and the mountains, cooking, shopping, writing, and drinking lots and lots of hot tea!  I enjoy the daily adventure of being a second grade teacher and relish my summers with my own children!
